Qualified Favorites
After weeks of intense Counter-Strike, the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 RMR Qualifiers have concluded. Many favorites have secured their place in the RMR, which will take place across all regions in February and March. The RMR winners will then compete in the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, the first-ever CS2 Major.

Most of the big teams in the Closed Qualifiers, such as MOUZ, Heroic, Astralis, and Spirit, secured their place in February’s RMR in Bucharest. Teams like NAVI, Cloud9, and Virtus.pro also progressed with little resistance. However, the surprise exit of BIG, who were defeated 1:3, was a setback. The Asia and Americas regions also saw favorites like TYLOO, Liquid, and Complexity progress to the RMR.
Underdog Qualification
Despite many favorites progressing, a few underdog qualifications stood out. South American team Legacy fought their way through, while the ex-Thunderflash roster had an impressive 3:1 run. Danish team Preasy also overcame the odds through the Closed Qualifier Decider, giving player dupreeh the chance to extend his CS Major record.
All the teams from the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 RMR Closed Qualifiers will be joining elite company. 12 teams were directly invited to the RMRs after their performance in the BLAST.tv Paris Major last year, so they have managed to avoid the Qualifiers. The European RMR A begins on February 14th.
