Vitality Ends SAW’s Underdog Run

Vitality put an end to SAW’s remarkable Cinderella run in the IEM Cologne 2024 Semi-Finals after a dominant performance. Despite SAW’s best efforts, Vitality outclassed them with a convincing 2-0 victory, securing 13-6 and 13-5 maps. SAW struggled on Nuke, and by the time Dust 2 rolled around, Vitality’s superiority was evident.
ZywOo exhibited his usual brilliance, especially on Dust 2, but it was the veteran IGL apEX who truly shone for Vitality. With an impressive 36-14 series, apEX delivered a performance reminiscent of his past glory days. His form bodes well for Vitality’s prospects in the upcoming Cologne final.
MOUZ Falters Against NAVI

In the IEM Cologne 2024 Semi-Finals, NAVI defeated MOUZ 2-0, adding to MOUZ’s woes in the playoffs. NAVI dominated on Inferno, and despite a late resurgence from MOUZ, NAVI secured the win. Mirage was a closely contested map, with NAVI emerging victorious by a narrow margin of 13-11.
b1t and iM stood out individually for both teams, but credit must be given to NAVI’s IGL, Aleksib, for his clutch plays that sealed the team’s spot in the Grand Final at LANXESS Arena.
