Excitingly, some parts of the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map have already been unveiled for players to explore. Time is running out to visit Restored Reels, The Nitrodome, Brutal Beachhead, and other points of interest on the current map before changes are implemented.
According to leaks, while some areas of the map may remain unchanged, a significant portion will be revamped. Epic Games has teased some improvements to the island ahead of the new season. Here’s what we know so far.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Map Preview
A teaser shared by Fortnite and leaker ShiinaBR hints at the introduction of a new Doctor Doom point of interest. Ultimate Doom is set to make a return, this time with his very own location on the island. This echoes the setup from Chapter 2 Season 4, where Tony Stark had his own spot. Interestingly, the role of Doom will be played by Robert Downey Jr., who previously portrayed Stark in the Marvel universe.
The Latveria POI is showcased as Doom’s homeland from the comics, featuring Doom’s Castle and other mysterious elements to discover. The teaser cryptically states, “The heart of Latveria bleeds green.”
Although the specific location of the POI is still unknown, a second teaser provides a glimpse of the entire island enveloped in a green gas, with certain areas like the Underworld and Mount Olympus remaining untouched. This suggests that the incoming changes might replace existing locations such as Brutal Beachhead, The Nitrodome, Classy Courts, or Grand Glacier.
While teasers are expected to continue in the coming days, the full map may not be revealed until the trailer release, possibly coinciding with the launch of Chapter 5 Season 4 on August 16. Given the Marvel-themed skins showcased in the battle pass, the upcoming season promises to be heavily influenced by the Marvel universe.
