Survival games are among the most popular multiplayer games on PC, and Once Human is no exception. This vast world is too large and dangerous to fully explore and conquer alone, so you will always find yourself surrounded by other players. You have the option to choose whether to play in a world that allows PvP or one that is strictly PvE, ensuring you can enjoy decorating your base without the fear of being attacked. However, what if you want to play with friends who are in different worlds?
Each server in Once Human consists of multiple worlds, so simply coordinating to play on the same server may not guarantee that you will find your friends right away. Since the console release date for Once Human is still uncertain, there is currently no way to connect with players on different platforms. Changing worlds within the game can be a bit tricky as there is no direct option in the menus provided for it, so read on to discover how to switch worlds in Once Human.
How to change worlds
To change worlds in Once Human, you can do so immediately after completing the tutorial and entering the open world. The starting area, Dayton Wetlands, is where you begin, but you can change worlds from anywhere on the map.
You need to locate the Teleportation Towers, which are indicated on the map by a small blue antenna symbol. Once you reach one, you will be presented with two options: Teleportation Tower and Switch to another World. Choose the latter, and a list of worlds will appear for you to select from. Simply choose the desired world and press F to instantly be transported to the new world.
How to change servers in Once Human
Unfortunately, in Once Human, you cannot change servers once you have selected one. If you wish to play on a different server, you will have to start a new character from the beginning.
