The long-awaited Borderlands movie is now showing in theaters. If reviews are anything to go by, you might prefer staying home to play some Borderlands games instead. And right now, you can get the entire series at a significant discount on almost every gaming platform.
You can easily expand your Borderlands collection with the Borderlands Collection: Pandora’s Box bundle, which includes Borderlands 1, 2, 3, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Tales from the Borderlands, and New Tales from the Borderlands, along with all DLC for each game. Normally priced at $150, you can now purchase it for $37.49 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Steam. The bundle is also now available on the Nintendo Switch for the same price. All deals are set to expire on August 15. While the bundle is not available on the Epic Games Store, the platform is hosting a franchise sale.
Although individual titles are also on sale, this bundle offers the most cost-effective approach. You won’t be charged for any titles you already own.
The only title missing from the bundle is the spinoff Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which is also discounted on various platforms. The Epic Games Store has it for $15, down from $60. The base game is not on sale on Steam, but it is included in heavily discounted bundles with its DLC.
Since its debut in 2009, the Borderlands series has been a staple of the first-person looter shooter genre. Renowned for its over-the-top guns, each mainline title has introduced increasingly absurd weapon options. Some entries have experimented with the formula, such as Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which combines first-person shooter gameplay with a top-down RPG system. The Tales from the Borderlands games, created in collaboration with Telltale Games, offer choice-driven narrative adventure experiences.
After a few years since the last mainline release, news on Borderlands 4 is expected within the next year.
