Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is introducing a revamped Zombie mode that offers new gameplay experiences. In a detailed post on their website, Treyarch developers unveiled the new map Terminus and a host of quality-of-life improvements, proving that this is not just a recycled version of the mode from previous titles.
Among the updates, players can now pause solo games and join in-progress co-op matches, enhancing the overall gaming experience. On the Terminus map, players must escape a maximum-security prison while battling waves of zombies, while a second map, Liberty Falls, is set in West Virginia during a Dark Aether outbreak, continuing the storyline from previous Black Ops games.
Veteran players will recognize the round-based gameplay mechanics, requiring players to balance Essence and Salvage currencies for completing objectives and upgrading their equipment. Newcomers can take advantage of a guided mode to navigate through quests, ensuring a smooth learning curve.
The addition of Omnimovement allows players to sprint in all directions, adding a new layer of strategy to avoid enemy fire. Additionally, Zombimovement offers a comical twist to player mobility in the Zombies mode.
