Former NFL player Morgan Kane has introduced a new mobile game development studio called Marauder Tech.
Marauder Tech is a fresh, completely remote mobile studio focusing on leading the way in the evolution of mobile game development.
Kane leads the studio’s operations with former Activision senior producer Joel Balyeat serving as the chief product officer.
Revolutionizing the turn-based gaming genre
“The concept of Marauder Tech was born over a decade ago. I’ve always had a passion for strategy games, but back then, I lacked the resources to establish a game studio,” said the company’s founder, Kane.
“In April of 2023, I hired my first developer, and now, more than a year later, we are ready to unveil what we have been diligently working on for the past year and a half.”
CPO Balyeat commented, “Our objective with Marauder’s debut title is to offer a fresh perspective on the turn-based genre. Our primary focus for the initial game is to allow players the freedom to play at their convenience without stringent time constraints for their actions.”
Marauder Tech is a self-funded studio with a diverse remote team of 22 individuals. They are currently crafting a turn-based strategy mobile game called Price of Glory, which is slated for launch later this year on Android and iOS.
