Google is set to unveil its latest Pixel hardware in just a week, but most of the details have already been leaked. The most recent leak hints at a large version of the Pixel Watch 3, which could address concerns about screen size and battery life in one go.
According to Android Headlines, in collaboration with reliable leaker OnLeaks, an official video advert for the upcoming Google smartwatch has been shared. The promo material indicates that the smartwatch will come in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm, featuring a round design with smooth curves. The possibility of a 45mm variant was also mentioned by 9to5Google.
The leaked video doesn’t reveal color options, but a potential listing shows four color choices, including blue, pink, and teal green. The main upgrade seems to be the display, with reduced bezels and doubled brightness. The OLED screen is expected to reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.
Battery capacity details are still unknown, but reports suggest 36 hours of battery life in battery saver mode and 24 hours in regular mode. A unique feature could be the notification offloading system borrowed from Wear OS 4.
The Pixel Watch 3 is reported to have a Snapdragon W5 processor, a reduced bezel size, and improved screen resolution. UWB support is also said to be included, enhancing location tracking and device interaction capabilities.
