Acting as a sequel to the popular 2019 game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows the journey of Cal Kestis as he encounters a new threat tied to the universe’s High Republic era. With a four-star review upon its initial release in April 2023, I praised the game as a thematically rich, character-driven Jedi tale set in a densely packed 3D Metroidvania world. It has now become the ultimate single-player Star Wars experience.
Originally intended as a current-gen exclusive, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor faced performance challenges on PC at launch. After over a year of continuous patches to enhance performance on all platforms, EA has finally confirmed the development of a last-gen port. This port, priced at $50, will include various optimizations aimed at maximizing the capabilities of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
