Valve has unveiled an exciting addition to The International 2024 – the TI13 Cosplay Competition sponsored by SteelSeries. Announced today (Aug. 1), this competition invites cosplayers to showcase their best Dota-themed cosplays in Copenhagen next month for The International.
With a €18,500 Prize Pool, winners will receive a full set of SteelSeries Gear and two general admission tickets to The International 2024.
Participants do not need to have event tickets – all registered cosplayers will attend the Pre-Judging Event near the Royal Arena. Detailed information will be provided to all participants in the first week of September.
To enter, visit the SteelSeries website, where you can find full details and rules, although they are currently non-functional.
In an additional Tweet, unofficial Valve spokesperson Wykrhm Reddy highlighted the perks:
“The International 2024 Cosplay Contest – now with a prize pool of $18,500 USD and goodies.”
The cosplay competition has become a cherished tradition at TI, with its showcase being one of the most anticipated parts of the event. Cosplay competitions are a common feature at Dota 2 events, allowing the community’s creative side to shine.
The International 2024, also known as TI3, will take place from September 4 to September 10, 2024, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Finals will be held at The Royal Arena in Copenhagen, featuring 16 of the world’s best teams. Stay tuned to Esports.net for complete TI13 coverage and updates.
