Now that the LEC 2024 Summer Split has concluded, it’s time to prepare for the Season Finals, where the teams will battle it out for a spot at Worlds.
LEC 2024 Season Finals – Teams and Schedule
Here are the six teams that have qualified for the 2024 LEC Season Finals (in seeding order):
- #1 – G2 Esports
- #2 – Fnatic
- #3 – Team BDS
- #4 – MAD Lions KOI
- #5 – SK Gaming
- #6 – GIANTX
The LEC 2024 Summer Split concluded with G2 Esports emerging as champions once again, defeating Fnatic in the finals with a 3-0 scoreline and securing a direct spot at Worlds 2024.
Although G2 won, Fnatic put up a strong fight and showed potential, being the only team to take a game off G2 in a Bo5 series. Team BDS also performed well throughout the season, consistently placing near the top of the standings and earning valuable points.
Meanwhile, MAD Lions KOI had a rough summer split but managed to qualify based on their previous results. SK Gaming and GIANTX round out the lineup for the Season Finals, with both teams having the potential to surprise.
The Groups bracket
The LEC Season Finals will kick off on August 10 with a double-elimination bracket. The schedule is as follows:
Round 1
- Saturday, August 10 – 18:00 CET – FNC vs BDS – Winners’ bracket
- Sunday, August 11 – 18:00 CET – G2 vs MDK – Winners’ bracket
- Saturday, August 17 – 18:00 CET – TBD vs TBD – lower bracket
- Sunday, August 18 – 18:00 CET – TBD vs TBD – lower bracket
Additional matches will determine the matchups for the lower bracket, with the final set to take place on September 1 in Munich, Germany.
