Valorant Episode 8 Act 1 has officially launched worldwide. This is the first major update we have seen in 2024. With various buffs and nerfs to agents, there is quite a bit of change to the meta. Additionally, the update has brought Outlaw, a new sniper, which has received mixed opinions by fans as well as professional players. When Does VALORANT Episode 8 Act 1 End?
Each Act in VALORANT lasts about two months. Thus, players can expect the VALORANT Episode 8 Act 1 to end sometime in early-March. Riot Games will announce the official date closer to the Act’s ending, though.
In terms of patch updates, we know from the VALORANT Public Beta Environment (PBE) Schedule that patch 8.01 is quite close to being released. According to previous patch schedules, there is one minor patch released in VALORANT after every two weeks. This is in line with the next PBE that is stated to take place in the month of January. Patch 8.02 PBE is said to take place on the 26th of January.
These small patches allow Riot to make the necessary changes to any new weapon or agent. In the VALORANT Episode 8 ACT 1, we have seen multiple changes to certain sentinel class agents in the game.
After the completion of an act in VALORANT, there is no rank reset. After the first placement game, players will be given the older rank that they were in the previous act of that episode. Additionally, there will be various buffs and nerfs to certain agents. There will also be a new Battle Pass in-game for fans to buy. The new act might also bring a few changes on certain maps that are a part of the competitive pool in 2024.
