The PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) has officially announced the teams that are partnered and will be participating in the tournament throughout 2024. The PMSL SEA operates as a semi-franchised league, with the majority of slots allocated to partnered teams, and some left open for regional qualifiers.
Originally launched in 2023 as a trial project for the PUBG Mobile Esports partnership program in SEA, the PMSL has expanded to other regions after a successful first year. However, the 2024 calendar for the PMSL SEA is the most packed, featuring three seasons compared to the two seasons in other regions.
While in 2023 there were only 15 partnered teams, this year there are 20 SEA Partnership teams, with four additional slots open to teams from the PUBG Mobile National Championships (PMNC).
The selection process for the PMSL partnership teams is based on past performance and contributions to the PUBG Mobile esports ecosystem. The PMSL will also have an impact on the SEA teams participating in the Global Open (PMGO) and the PMGC.
