After five years of development, Team FOLON has released its highly anticipated “DLC-sized” mod for Fallout 4: Fallout London.
In this massive mod, players can explore post-nuclear apocalypse London, complete with double-decker buses and irradiated football hooligans.
Team FOLON, led by Dean “Prilladog” Carter, is a team of over 100 hobbyists. The mod is available for free to download on GoG. While not officially affiliated with Bethesda, Team FOLON’s creation is of epic proportions, rivaling the size of Fallout 4 itself.
Additionally, Fallout London features a star-studded voice cast including Neil Newbon, best known for his award-winning performance as Astarion in Baldur’s Gate 3. Former Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, lends his voice to the mod’s robotic Speaker of the House.

The mod was initially scheduled to launch on April 23 (Saint George’s Day). However, Bethesda’s next-gen update for Fallout 4 pushed back the release of Fallout London to July 25, 2024.
Team FOLON’s ambitious project aims to capture the essence of the franchise in a brand new setting across the pond. This offers a unique opportunity to experience Fallout in a non-standard American context. Despite recent developments, Todd Howard has ruled out expanding the series to locations outside the U.S. in a 2024 interview.
While gaming companies are increasingly embracing user-generated content, monetization remains a challenge. Unlike newer titles with built-in creative tools, Bethesda does not have a monetization program for its modding system. Fallout London stands as a testament to fan passion, independent of financial incentives.
