This marks the company’s entry into the growing landscape of generative AI gaming startups aiming to streamline the creation of 2D and 3D content for games, which can otherwise be costly and time-consuming.
Titan AI utilizes image generators Stable Diffusion and DALL-E to produce 2D graphics and merges them with 3D models using proprietary technology. Additionally, the company is training AI to develop level segments, addressing what co-founder Fabien-Pierre Nicolas describes as a “labor-intensive task.”
Founded by Nicolas and Victor Ceitelis, Titan AI’s primary goal is to create more inclusive gaming experiences for underrepresented groups. As Nicolas explained, the company aims to address a lack of representation in games. This mission is exemplified in their first game, Aztec Spirit Run, featuring a protagonist defending a temple’s treasure against Conquistadores.

Despite the success of runner games, Titan AI is exploring other game templates and possibilities for generative AI in gaming, including the potential for players to design their own in-game avatars.
