Sennheiser recently launched the Accentum Wireless SE, a variant of its Accentum Wireless headphones. The SE model features copper-colored accents and includes Sennheiser’s BTD 600 aptX Adaptive USB dongle. Normally priced at $200, the SE falls between the Accentum Wireless ($180) and the Accentum Plus Wireless ($230). During Amazon’s Prime Day sale, the SE bundle is available at just $125, offering a 38% discount on already great wireless headphones.
In an earlier review, I was thoroughly impressed by the design, sound quality, comfort, and value of the Accentum Wireless. The new Accentum Wireless SE retains these qualities and adds a copper accent along with a USB Bluetooth dongle, making it an even better deal. With the Prime Day discount, the SE is priced lower than the regular Accentum Wireless.
Don’t miss out on this deal, and here’s more information about the included dongle:
The BTD 600 is a USB-A Bluetooth dongle that enables devices like smartphones, tablets, and PCs to transmit and receive Bluetooth signals using codecs such as SBC, aptX, and aptX Adaptive. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C adapter for direct connection to USB-C laptops and smartphones.
While some PCs support Qualcomm’s aptX codec, aptX Adaptive is less common. Macs do not natively support aptX, so the dongle ensures quality audio with aptX and aptX HD.
The ability to connect the headphones directly to USB-C for hi-res audio or use the dongle for wireless convenience ensures the highest audio quality.
