Kindo, an enterprise AI security platform, has raised $20.6 million in funding and acquired the open-source security project WhiteRabbitNeo.
Ron Williams, CEO of Kindo, stated in an interview with VentureBeat that the company’s mission is to ensure enterprises can safely adopt and manage AI technologies, including generative AI.
Drive Capital led the funding round, with participation from existing Kindo investors. This funding brings the total raised by Kindo to $27.6 million. The company was founded in October 2022 and has 23 employees.
Kindo’s platform offers centralized AI governance and security controls, data loss prevention, fine-grained access controls, and integration with various enterprise systems. It addresses the challenges of secure AI adoption for enterprises.
Kindo has acquired WhiteRabbitNeo to enhance its AI security capabilities. The goal is to develop next-generation security models for AI deployment, combining WhiteRabbitNeo’s AI-powered security with Kindo’s expertise in enterprise AI infrastructure.
With this new capital, Kindo will accelerate product development and expand sales and marketing efforts to reach more enterprises. The acquisition of WhiteRabbitNeo will further strengthen Kindo’s position in the AI security market.
