Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game challenges you to categorize a pool of 16 words into four secret groups by identifying their relationships. The puzzle resets daily at midnight with varying levels of difficulty. Similar to Wordle, you can track your winning streak and compare scores with friends.
If you’re struggling with today’s Connections puzzle, check out our tips and hints below. If needed, the answers are provided at the end.
How to play Connections
In Connections, you’ll see a grid of 16 words, and your goal is to organize them into four sets of four based on their connections. These connections can be related to various themes like video game titles, book series, colors, restaurant names, etc.
While some words may seem to fit multiple themes, there is only one correct answer. You can shuffle and rearrange the grid to help identify potential connections.
Each group is color-coded, with yellow being the easiest and purple being the most challenging. Select four words and hit Submit. Correct answers remove the words from the grid and reveal the connecting theme, while incorrect guesses count as mistakes (you have four chances).
