Is MultiVersus available on PS4?
MultiVersus, a free-to-play title, is widely available on various platforms. Despite the older generation of consoles starting to show their age, MultiVersus was only fully released in 2024, amidst most games moving towards being exclusive to the PS5 on the PlayStation platform. However, this title stands out.
During its beta period, MultiVersus attracted a significant player base as early as 2022 when most consoles were still receiving new releases. Although officially released in 2024, many players had already joined the game on older hardware. Are there any restrictions for playing MultiVersus on PS4?

Is MultiVersus on PS4?
MultiVersus is available on a multitude of platforms, including PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and even older consoles like PS4 and Xbox One. The game is accessible on most consoles, with the exception of Nintendo Switch.
When MultiVersus initially launched in Open Beta, it ran smoothly on Unreal Engine 4 on the PlayStation 4. Despite the shift to Unreal Engine 5, the game still performs well on PS4. While it may not be the most advanced hardware to play on, there is little decline in performance compared to other platforms.
Does The Game Play Well on PS4?
MultiVersus continues to offer an enjoyable gaming experience on PS4. Although it is also available on more recent hardware, the support for PS4 seems likely to continue. There are no signs of the developers abandoning the platform, with future updates expected to come to PS4 as well.
