Building and managing your own medieval utopia is a solitary endeavor. While you have a population of citizens to oversee and grow, nothing compares to the challenge of facing another human player. Although Manor Lords is currently a PC exclusive, it is also set to release on Xbox consoles, opening up the city-building fun to a wider audience. While cross-platform play is common in modern games, Manor Lords remains tethered to its historical setting. Here’s all you need to know about cross-platform support for this management simulator.
Is Manor Lords Cross-Platform?
Without mincing words, Manor Lords does not offer cross-platform support. Even with availability on Steam, PC Game Pass, and Xbox consoles, players will not be able to engage with others on different platforms. Furthermore, there is no multiplayer component in the game, whether cooperative or competitive. As such, cross-platform play is not a feature in Manor Lords.
Regrettably, multiplayer is unlikely to be added to the game in the future. In an FAQ released by the developer prior to launch, they stated, “The focus is on a refined single-player experience, with no multiplayer or cooperative modes planned at the moment.”
So, my lords, prepare to build your villages in solitude this time around.
