The Tribeca Festival is set to return in June, featuring official game selections and a game-focused panel, including a session on the making of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
This year’s Tribeca Fest will showcase seven promising indie games, including titles like Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Blue Prince from publishers such as Devolver Digital and Raw Fury.
- Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure: A puzzle adventure game by Furniture & Mattress.
- Blue Prince: A puzzle game by Dogubomb and Raw Fury.
- darkwebSTREAMER: A horror game by We Have Always Lived In The Forest.
- Goodnight Universe: A new title from Nice Dream Games and Skybound Games.
- Neva: An emotional 2D platformer by Monada Studio and Devolver Digital.
- Skate Story: A psychedelic skateboarding game by Sam Eng and Devolver Digital.
- Thank Goodness You’re Here: An “absurd comedy slapformer” by Coal Supper and Panic.
These games were chosen for their storytelling and will have free demos playable at Pier 57 in New York City from June 12 to June 16. One game will be awarded the Tribeca Games Award at the event.
Additionally, a special event titled “From Fire to Firaga: Remaking Final Fantasy VII” will be held on June 14, featuring the director and producer of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
There will not be a digital showcase for Tribeca this year.
