First, a bit of background: The current Apple TV 4K, now in its third generation, is a relatively recent release from early November 2022. Praised as a device built for the future, it continues to hold its own in the market.
The current offerings of the Apple TV 4K include a 32GB model with Wi-Fi connectivity and a 128GB model that also includes Ethernet and support for smart home protocols like Thread and Matter. The slight price difference between the two models ($20) makes the upgraded version a worthwhile investment.
While there are no imminent updates on the horizon, a refresh for 2024 is certainly within the realm of possibility.
The Form Factor
