If you subscribed to Peacock for The Office or to watch a football game, you may be pleasantly surprised by the great TV shows and movies available on the app that are definitely worth exploring.
Among the many great titles it offers, there are some genuinely excellent horror movies, including some underrated ones that are definitely worth checking out. Here are three of our favorites.
Freaky (2020)
Freaky is a horror comedy that tells the story of a serial killer and a teenage girl who swap bodies. It features grisly kills and excellent comedy from Vince Vaughn, making it one of the best horror movies of recent years, equally terrifying and hilarious.
The Exorcist: Part III (1990)
The Exorcist: Part III follows a police captain as he tries to solve a series of horrific murders in his town, delving into themes that fascinated the first film, and featuring a riveting performance from George C. Scott.
The Black Phone (2022)
In The Black Phone, Ethan Hawke plays a child killer and kidnapper. The film is deliberately small-scale but genuinely tense from start to finish; exactly the kind of great small-budget horror film that we don’t get to see in theaters often enough these days.
