Mercedes has unveiled the electric G580 as part of its 2025 lineup, integrating electric powertrain technology into the classic design to enhance off-road performance.
Distinctive features of the G580 include a quad-motor powertrain producing 579 horsepower and 859 pound-feet of torque. The electric G-Class can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, showcasing impressive performance.
With an electric motor for each wheel, the G-Class offers a unique off-road experience by automatically adjusting torque for maximum traction. The vehicle maintains a high ground clearance and impressive water fording capabilities.
The G580 also boasts advanced features such as G-Turn, G-Steering, and an artificial soundtrack called G-Roar. The vehicle supports fast charging and utilizes regenerative braking technology for efficient energy usage.
Inside, the G580 provides luxurious accommodations with Nappa leather upholstery and advanced technology features. The Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system ensures a seamless driving experience.
