11 Bit Studios has unveiled new gameplay footage of its upcoming sci-fi survival title, The Alters, at the Xbox Partner Preview event. The game is set to launch on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass later this year, though an exact release date has not been specified.
The Alters narrative unfolds on a distant planet, where protagonist Jan Dolski seeks refuge in a mobile base. Through the discovery of mysterious resources, Jan gains the ability to alter his past decisions, leading to the creation of alternate versions of himself known as the “Alters.” These Alters assist in the management of the base, with the primary objective being to escape the planet before survival becomes impossible.
